Scottish Fold

The medium to large sized cat is slightly rectangular format.

Chest, shoulders and back are fairly broad and muscular.  

The legs are medium length,solid,the paws are thick and rounded.

The tail is of medium length, reaching at least to the shoulders,it ends in a rounded tip.It should not have thickened areas of stiffness and should be fully flexible up to the tip.The neck is  fairly short  and strong.

The head is round , in the balance to the body,  with a firm chin.Forehead between the ears are markedly rounded.The cheeks are full and round. The nose is short, broad and straight.The profile is curved (without a stop).The large, solid , round whisker pads  give definition to the short, pronounced muzzle. 

The ears are small and forward folded, with slightly rounded tips, which point towards the centre of the head. They are set wide apart and fit tightly to the skull

The coat is short and  dense, standing off from the body with silky texture. 

All colours, patterns with any amount of white and pointed colours with Siamese points without white 
are recognized. The description of colours is listed in the general list of colours.

• Inflexibility of any part of the tail is a severe fault which excludes the title.
• Ears not fit tightly to the skull.
• Profile with a stop.
• Flattened or thickened fingers (disqualification)
• Visible defects of the skeleton (disqualification)

•   Mating between Scottish Fold / Highland Fold x Scottish Fold /Highland Fold is not permitted.
•  Mating between Scottish Fold and British is not permitted.
